- What is ADAM?
ADAM (Application Document and Appraisal Management) is a secure, online application and document storage system that allows Magnet applicants to create, upload, and store organizational narratives and evidence for document submission. ADAMplus is the premium version of ADAM. It includes all the key elements plus additional guidance, helpful checklists, templates, and advanced functionality.

- What are the benefits of ADAM?
ADAM replaces the current electronic documentation submission process. It offers numerous benefits to streamline your application and save you time and resources. ADAM allows multiple users to store and manage documents simultaneously on the same account. You can share files, edit documents, create a library and efficiently collaborate in real time. When your documentation is due, simply click one button to submit it.
- How much does ADAM cost?
ADAM is FREE! All you have to do is sign up. ADAMplus is available for $16,750 per application, for one application cycle only.
- Is ADAM mandatory?
As of February 2020, all organizations submitting documents to the Magnet Program Office must use the standard version of ADAM.
- How long does my account last?
Your account is good from the day you submit your application and gives you access to the system continuously for four years.
- What file formats can I use in ADAM?
Both ADAM and ADAMplus accept PDFs. You can create your files in any format you choose. Then, simply save them as PDFs before uploading.
- Are there file size limits?
No! ADAM accepts files of all sizes, though it might take longer to upload extremely large files.
- Who can view my stored documents?
You have complete control over who can access, view, share, and edit your documents. No one at the Magnet Program Office will have access to your application, or any of your files, until you click the “submit” button.
- Can I archive documents I don’t need, or want to save for the future?
Yes. You’ll have your own library where you can store documents and easily retrieve them whenever you want.
